Super Mario World Remake - Mockup

Mockup for another hypothetical Super Mario fangame, this being the classic SNES title with a makeover to have the style closely fit the later Paper Mario (N64). The palette is less limited than the original, and generally lower contrast to be easier on the eyes, while other aspects of the style lean into a storybook theme, with strong outlines and flat appearances for the characters and environment.
